Founded by Mr Piers’s father in 1932, Piers Company originally specialised in general and industrial electricity and electro mechanics got interested in layer cages at the beginning of the 60’s.

1960 : Creation of the first manufacturing workshop of layer cages
1968 : A factory is being built in Estaires.
1973 : Creation of a Piers agency in Brittany.
1976 : Creation of a manufacturing workshop of rabbit cages.
1980 : Creation of a second factory in Brittany.
2003 : Buying of a specialised robotics company.
2004 : Extension of the Brittany factory.

Since 1960, the Piers Company managed by the son, André Piers, has constantly developed a large range of products and has always improved the design of the quality of its equipments. This strategy has been possible thanks both to a willing to listen to customers and an answer to their requirements. All this has contributed to get the strongest reputation of quality.

The development of new products and concepts corresponding to the customers requirements and to the new rules has been improved when Mr Jean LECOEUCHE, chairman, who has done his entire career at Piers’s, has bought the company in 2000.

Thanks to their specificity and complementary functions these innovating systems became essential in the poultry activities as for example :

Nowadays, Piers Company is the only French layer equipment manufacturer.
