The aim is to dry the layer manure up to 70-85% dry matter in a short time thanks to the calories coming from the poultry house. The drying system is composed of a powerful head structure at each end and many tiers and sections (1,995m) according to the quantity of manure to dry.
Thanks to a distribution hopper the manure coming from the poultry house is laid out on the polypropylene belt up to the higher tier. The hot air coming from the poultry house goes into a compression room and gets through the holes of the polypropylene belts.
In this way, the manure dries. All the belts with manure move ahead everyday at low speed and the manure falls down tier per tier. The drying cycle lasts 2 or 3 days.
The drying system works automatically with the manure conveyors thanks to sensors. After being dried the manure is collected by a conveyor up to the storage building.
